The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the heinous terrorist attack, which targeted El Boutroseya Coptic Orthodox Church this morning in Abbasiya, claiming the lives of at least 26 people and wounding 49 others.
"The OIC Secretary General, Dr. Yousef A. al-Othaimeen, expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and to the people and government of the Arab Republic of Egypt, wishing the wounded speedy recovery," the OIC reported on its website.
The Secretary General also reaffirmed the OIC’s continued support to Egypt in its war on terror, reiterating the OIC’s principled position which condemns all forms and manifestations of terrorism.
