The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the terrorist attacks that hit Baghdad on Wednesday, killing and injuring scores of innocent civilians in the Sadr City market and in Kadhmiya and Jamiya neighborhoods in the Iraqi capital.
OIC Secretary General, Iyad Ameen Madani denounced these criminal acts committed by the terrorist organization ISIS which continues its odious attempts to undermine the security and stability of Iraq.
The OIC Chief offered his condolences to the families of the victims, wishing the wounded speedy recovery. Madani reaffirmed the OIC’s firm position on the unity of the territory and people of Iraq and the preservation of its solidarity, security and stability.
