The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, OIC, has strongly condemned the deadly shooting of people which took place in Istanbul, Turkey, that resulted to the killing of at least 39 people and wounding many more others.
Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, OIC Secretary-General, expressed the solidarity and support of OIC Member States to the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Turkey to stamp out terrorism.
The Secretary-General reiterated the principled position of the OIC that vigorously denounces all acts of terrorism and violent extremism in all forms and manifestations, just as it categorically rejects any justifications for terrorism.
