The Kingdom of Morocco has condemned in the strongest possible terms the occupation of the UAE Embassy's building and evacuation of the staff in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, by al-Houthi militia.
The Kingdom's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation said in a statement carried by Maghreb Arab Press, on Thursday, that "The Kingdom of Morocco strongly condemns this criminal act, which is a flagrant violation of international law and diplomatic norms pertaining to the immunities enjoyed by foreign embassies."
It added that it is a desperate attempt to thwart efforts of the Arab coalition to restore the security and stability to the sisterly Republic of Yemen.
