Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, performed Friday prayer today at Za'beel Mosque, which was followed by the funeral prayer on the body of Lt. General Khamis Matar Al Mazeina, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, who died last night.
Performing the two prayers along with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior and H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The two prayers were also performed by Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad bin Nasser Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director of the Dubai Ruler's Court, Lt. General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Dubai Police and Public Security and a number of senior officials.
After the funeral prayer, Al Mazeina was laid to rest at Al Qusais Cemetery in Dubai
