Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al Ghanim on Tuesday sent a cable of condolences to Speaker of Turkey's Grand National Assembly Ismail Kahraman over the death of 11 people in Istanbul terror attack.
Ghanim extended condolences and sympathy to families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.
He reiterated Kuwait's solidarity with Turkey as well as its call for concerted efforts to eliminate terrorism.
The death toll of the bomb attack that hit Turkey's Istanbul earlier on Tuesday climbed to 11, along with 36 injured.
Seven police officers and four civilians lost their lives in an early morning explosion in Istanbul's Beyazit area Tuesday.
