The Syndicate of Journalists condemned the physical and verbal attacks on Egyptian men of press and media in Paris while covering the climate change conference in Paris.
In a statement on Wednesday, the syndicate said the recurrence of aggression on the freedom of expression requires a serious decision from the bodies concerned.
It called on the French authorities to probe the reports filed by the attacked journalists and bring the perpetrators to justice, and also urged the Egyptian authorities to take into consideration future attacks.
A number of Egyptian media men including TV anchor Ahmed Moussa were attacked during the Paris conference by persons believed to be loyal to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group.
