The Jordanian government condemned on Thursday the deadly attack outside the British parliament that left the assailant and four persons dead.
A knife-wielding man went on the deadly rampage in the heart of Britain's seat of power Wednesday, plowing a car into pedestrians on London's Westminster Bridge before stabbing a police officer to death inside the gates of Parliament. Other officers fatally shot the attacker.
In addition to the dead, 40 people have injuries.
Spokesman for the Jordanian government Mohamed al Momani renewed Jordan's rejection of terrorist attacks targeting civilians, saying these attacks disrupt international peace and security.
Terrorism is a transcontinental phenomenon and there must be an overall approach to address it, the spokesman said.
He called for rallying the efforts of all countries to contain this threat to humanity.
He reiterated Jordan's solidarity with Britain in the face of terrorism, offering condolences to the victims' families and wishing speedy recovery to all injured.
