Jordan on Sunday denounced the two terrorist attacks that hit the Iraqi capital Baghdad late Saturday, killing and injuring scores of innocent civilians.
Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani stressed in a statement that such terrorist acts in different world countries are carried out by criminal groups seeking to spread fear, chaos and destabilize countries and cause more destruction and killings.
This calls for coordinated and unified efforts in Iraq to confront these terrorists groups, Momani was quoted by Jordan's news agency Petra as saying.
The minister added that Jordan stands with Iraq in all circumstances, extending the Kingdom's condolences to families of the victims and wishing the injured speedy recovery.
