Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán sent a cable of condolences to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi over the victims of Sunday's terrorist blast that targeted the Boutroseya Church in Cairo's Abbassiya district.
He described it as a dangerous attack on both Muslims and Christians in Egypt, who are living side-by-side in peace.
The Hungarian embassy in Cairo quoted Orban as saying that Hungary highly valued the great efforts exerted by Sisi in fighting terrorism that serve not only the interests of Egypt, but also Europe.
The Hungarian government is committed to offer all support to the Egyptian people to help fight terrorism, he added.
