House Speaker Ali Abdel Aal has mourned the eight slain policemen who were killed in a terror attack in Cairo's district of Helwan in the early hours of Sunday morning.
In a speech to today's session of the House of Representatives, Abdel Aal pledged to spare no effort in combating terrorism with all possible ways.
The parliament observed a moment of silence to mourn the slain policemen.
Eight policemen, including an officer, were killed in an armed attack on their vehicle on the Nile Corniche in Cairo's district of Helwan.
