The foreign relations committee of the House of Representatives has slammed a documentary aired by the Qatar-based Aljazeera satellite channel against Egypt's army on Sunday.
In a statement, the committee said the broadcasting of the film was part of malignant and unfair practices by the channel against the army.
The statement added that the channel broadcasts poisonous and malicious messages to tarnish the army's image and presents lies about Egypt's heros.
The dirty hands in the state of Qatar approved and helped the broadcast of the film at a time when the Arab nation is passing through regional and international conspiracies and needs the Egyptian Armed Forces to protect it, said the statement.
The statement warned of the anger of the Egyptian people, adding that the government will use all legal and diplomatic measures to defend the army and will not stand idle towards such practices.
