GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashed Al-Zayani, on behalf of the GCC member countries, denounced the explosion which took place in a suburban district of the Somalia capital of Mogadishu, leaving tens of people killed or injured.
Dr. Al-Zayani described the act as heinous and expressed the firm stance of the GCC countries in supporting the government of Somalia in its efforts to confront terrorism, while extending condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and the government and people of Somalia, and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
