GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani has condemned Tuesday's terrorist attack on the guest house of the governor of the Afghani city of Kandahar, which resulted in the injury of the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Afghanistan and a number of Emirati diplomats, describing it as a terrorist act that contradicts with all moral and humanitarian values and principles.
The secretary general expressed GCC states' solidarity and support for the UAE and Afghanistan towards such a "heinous crime" that came at a time when the UAE ambassador was on an "official humanitarian mission" as part of his country's efforts to execute a number of development projects in favor of the Afghani people.
