Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani on Tuesday condemned a terrorist attack that targeted a police vehicle at the Beyazit district in the Turkish city of Istanbul killing 11 policemen and civilians and injuring 36.
The GCC chief extended condolences and sympathy to families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.
In a statement, he reiterated the GCC's call for concerted efforts to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, regardless of its motivations, backers or financiers.
