GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashed Al-Zayani strongly condemned a suicide bombing that took place in front of Al-Solban military camp in Aden, located in the south of Yemen, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of scores of Yemeni military personnel.
He described the suicide attack as a "terrorist attack" that runs counter to Islam, as well as human values and principles.
In a statement today, Dr. Al-Zayani added, ''The GCC states condemn the horrific attack, and supports the Yemeni Government's investigation into the matter, and its continuous efforts to regain stability and security in Yemeni cities."
