The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani strongly condemned the terrorist attack which occurred Sunday near the Coptic Cathedral in Cairo's Abbassyia district and left dozens of civilians dead and injured.
Dr. Al Zayani described the incident as being cowardly terrorist act that contradicts all human and moral values.
Al Zayani expressed GCC States' disapproval for this horrible crime, as well as their support for the Egyptian government in its efforts to combat sedition, extremism and terrorist organizations.
