Dar Al Ifta's Fatwa Monitoring Observatory has strongly condemned the call of the far-right leader in Belgium Philippe Dyontr to cancel the recognition of Islam in Belgium.
Describing the call as abhorrent racism, the monitoring observatory refused, in a statement Wednesday, the incitement to kill innocent Muslims whose hands have not been stained with blood.
The observatory added that Islam and Muslims in Belgium an integral part of the Belgian society, as Muslims are no longer expat communities, many Muslims have important positions in the political, economic and cultural fields in Belgium.
Such kinds of calls ignite hatred among the nation, are a clear incitement against Muslims and contribute to spreading Islamophobia, added the observatory.
