Egypt's Mufti Shawki Allam has strongly condemned Sunday's terror attack on al Sayyeda Zainab town in Syria's Damascus countryside.
In a statement, Allam said that such terror acts have nothing to do with Islam.
He expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to all wounded.
Over 45 persons were killed and dozens others were injured when three bombings rocked Sayyeda Zainab town.
An attack, which hit a bus station in Koua Soudan area, was caused by a car bomb, and after people gathered to help the injured, two suicide bombers with explosive belts blew themselves up at the site.
