EgyptAir mourned the victims of the doomed plane that crashed in the Mediterranean Sea on Thursday while en route from Paris to Cairo.
In a statement on Friday, the national flag carrier expressed its deep regret for this tragic accident, pledging to take all necessary measures in this respect.
The company said it is closely following up the situation and will provide media outlets with all details about the plane crash.
Earlier in the day, the Egyptian Armed Forces announced that their elements found some parts of EgyptAir plane that vanished off radar at dawn Thursday with 66 persons; 30 Egyptians, 15 French and 10 other nationalities, on board.
In a statement, the Armed Forces said that personal belongings of passengers and parts of the plane's wreckage have been found some 290 kilometres north of Alexandria city.
