Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid has strongly condemned suicide bombing which took place yesterday evening in the south German town of Ansbach.
Abu Zeid, meanwhile, reiterated Egypt's stance which affirms the need of the international community's unity in order to combat terrorism and confront destructive ideas.
Egypt supports the German government and its people in confronting terrorism, he affirmed.
A Syrian asylum seeker has blown himself up and injured 15 other people with a backpack bomb near a festival in the south German town of Ansbach.
The 27-year-old man, who faced deportation to Bulgaria, detonated the device after being refused entry to the music festival,
The man had been refused refugee status in Germany a year ago, a top security official in Bavaria, where the incident took place, said early on Monday. An interior ministry spokesman later said he had been scheduled to be deported to Bulgaria.
