The Islamophobia Monitoring Observatory at Egypt's Darul Ifta has strongly condemned bomb blasts at two locations in Mogadishu that killed a number of civilians.
The first attack took place near a Somali army facility and was operated by a suicide bomber, the second explosion occurred when a vehicle filled with explosives drove into the gate of Weheliye hotel on a busy capital street.
In a statement Tuesday, the Observatory warned of the escalation of terrorist acts in Somalia.
It also underlined the importance of confronting attempts of Al Shabaab terrorist group to target commercial markets in Somalia.
