Bahrain has strongly condemned the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)’s test-firing of a ballistic missile, affirming that such a move is highly provocative and a breach of relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
"This reflects North Korea’s clear disregard of its commitments and indicates the country’s adamant non-response to international endeavors to maintain peace and stability," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its statement.
"The Ministry accentuates the need for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to observe the UN Security Council resolutions and halt all tension-fueling practices that jeopardize peace and security."
"It also calls on world countries to remain committed to the Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and to place all their nuclear programs and activities under International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)'s supervision."
