Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union Speaker Ahmed al Jarwan condoled with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud over the death of pilgrims during a Mina stampede incident.
He also offered condolences to the families of the victims, hoping a speedy recovery to the injured.
In a press statement issued on Saturday, al Jarwan hailed the directives of the monarch to secure the rituals of pilgrimage, adding that his orders will prevent the repetition of such accidents that take place when the pilgrims do not abide by instructions.
