H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, denounced on Sunday the terrorist attack that targeted Bahrain's stability and security.
He stressed, "This terrorism, which is backed externally and targets the people of Bahrain and their institutions, is an integral part of the danger of extremism and terrorism that we are witnessing in this part of the world."
In a statement, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed said, "The forces of evil will not triumph over the forces of good, and the coexistence enjoyed by Bahrain."
He added, "We stand today as we do always with the leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people in the face of terrorism, which seeks to destabilise Bahrain's security, stability and growth to undermine the civilian life."
Sheikh Abdullah said, "I am confident that these criminal schemes will not succeed in front of the solid will of the Bahrainis, their solidarity, cohesion and national rallying behind their King and their homeland."
In the conclusion of his statement, he underlined that "The security of the Arab Gulf countries is indivisible, and those who target Bahrain target us. United we will eliminate the terrorism and its evil purposes."
