President Abdel Fattah al Sisi has congratulated Sudanese President Omar al Bashir on his election win.
Presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said Sisi phoned Bashir wishing him success in leading Sudan to achieve the aspirations of its people.
Bashir thanked Sisi, praising the bilateral ties binding the two countries.
The two sides agreed to boost consultations in the coming stage.
Sudan's Bashir won another term in office after taking 94 percent of the vote in the presidential elections.
