Over 300 Indian-American organizations from across the US will join hands give Narendra Modi a 'historic public reception', when he arrives here on his maiden visit to US as India's Prime Minister in September.
A number of US lawmakers are expected to attend the event to be held under the aegis of the newly-formed Indian American Community Foundation, a Press Trust of India (PTI) report said Wednesday.
Prime Minister Modi will deliver a major policy speech on Indian diaspora from the historic Madison Square Garden in the New York City on September 28, PTI added.
