Egypt’s Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has extended thanks to ‘General Electric Company’ officials for their efforts in implementing electricity projects as part of the country’s urgent plan to resolve the electricity problems.
The remarks were made during a meeting between Mahlab and Nabil Al-Habayeb, CEO of General Electric Middle East, North Africa and Turkey in the presence of Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker.
Mahlab called for continuing cooperation between the Egyptian government and the global company in various fields.
He directed paying attention to training Egypt’s engineers and technicians, stressing that the government is ready to provide full support for the company’s plan to manufacture in Egypt.
For his part, Habayeb congratulated Mahlab for the success of plans put forward to face the deficiency in electricity.
