Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar on Tuesday sent a cable of greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Eidul Adha.
The minister said that the occasion that reflects the greatness of sacrifice and redemption motivates the ministry bodies to spare no effort to maintain security and stability, uphold the values of truth and justice and secure the country's construction, progress and development process.
The Eid will fall on Thursday.
Security measures were intensified nationwide ahead of Eidul Adha celebrations. All the ministry's departments have set plans to secure the celebrations, prayers, state and vital facilities and transportation means during the Greater Bairam within directions of Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar.
