Member of Bosnia's tripartite presidency Dragan Covic said he hopes to visit Egypt and meet with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in the nearest possible chance.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Covic had met with Egyptian Ambassador in Sarajevo Yasser el Atawy and expressed gratitude to Egypt over its supportive stances of the country.
Covic said he backs an offer by Atawy on Egyptian-Bosnian cooperation to fight terrorism.
The Egyptian envoy also made a detailed presentation about the recent positive political and economic developments in Egypt.
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the three-member body which collectively serves as head of state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
