Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika Wednesday sent a cable of congratulations to Nigeria's president-elect Muhammadu Buhari on wining presidential election.
In his cable, the Algerian president hailed efforts made by the Nigerien authorities to foil any attempts to disrupt the election vote process.
Also, Bouteflika wished Buhari more success in going ahead with achieving stability, economic and social development.
Algeria is keen on developing strategic partnership and boosting bilateral cooperation to meet the aspirations of the two peoples,Bouteflika added.
