Designer Sumaya Abu Shadi revealed her 2017 collection for women wearing hijab and women not wearing it. She told “Arab Toda” that, she re-released 2016 collection in 2017 upon her customers’ request, which happens for the first time, expressing her happiness over such request, adding that she always goes with simplicity, elegance and difference.
She designed simple and chic models that suit all women in different ages, and can be easy worn to work or collage. She chose cotton clothes that suit Egypt climate and other fabrics like, Viscose, Poplin, Ax Ford, Chania, Turkish Gepardine, Chiffon and Crepe. Most of the models consist of one or two pieces to be easily worn, and these models are of different designs like, dresses, Jeans Trousers Model Aladdin, Large Canvas Trousers, Knitwear, Traditional Sweatshirts, Cotton Shirts, Sweatshirts, Sport Pants and Long and Short Cardigan. These designs come in different colors.
She added that the collection contains 31 models, so that every girl finds what suits her best. The collection also contains formal and classic clothes, and it is inspired from Egypt and India heritages, combining between international and Egyptian fashion.
