Duchess of Cambridge London- Arabstoday Kate Middleton has been declared “Hat Person of the Year” by The Headwear Association. In an online poll, the Duchess of Cambridge received an astounding 91% of the vote, beating Rachel Zoe (4%), Ne-Yo (2%), and 1% finishers Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Charlie Sheen. Middleton joins previous “Hat Person of the Year” recipients Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt. Founded in 1908, The Headwear Association is “oldest association in the hat trade.” And though the engagements for which Kate chooses to wear hats are not unusual, her sartorial influence has inspired many people to sport formal headwear for all manner of special occasions.
