Tunisian-born fashion designer Azzedine Alaia London - Arabstoday Tunisian-born fashion designer Azzedine Alaia is set to open a store in Paris next March. The space will house the label's showroom and offices. In typical Alaia style, the Paris-based, five-floor Hôtel Particulier (mansion hotel), is hidden in the quiet Rue de Marignan, off Avenue Montaigne - home to Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton. His new store is currently under renovation, with the emphasis on keeping the building a low-key, relatively secret location. The new store will have an interior courtyard/garden and will have space for a store, a showroom and the designer brand's offices. The couturier is famous for not releasing seasonal fashion collections, only creating new work when he feels inspired. He showed his first full collection in eight years at Couture Fashion Week in July 2011.
