Strategy to be developed for educational system
Higher Education Minister Ashraf el-Shiehy

New Higher Education Minister Ashraf el Shiehy underlined the importance of developing a strategy for the higher education system, adding that binding universities with scientific research is a national necessity.
In statements on Saturday, el Shiehy said that preparations for the new academic year are currently atop of the ministry's priorities.
He further reiterated that empowering youth begins from the university, noting that the university stage is important in forming the personality of the individual.
Meanwhile, el Shiehy graduated from the Engineering Faculty in 1977.
