Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab said Saturday the government is keen on modernizing the educational process to meet the demands on the labour markets.
During a meeting with educational modernization committee, Mahlab said the committee needs to develop the educational process in the various stages in general and Azhari educational institutions.
"We need graduates aware of needs of the day, able to compete and have skills of the 21st century," he added.
No educational institutions will be approved outside the general and Azhari institutions, he pointed out.
Only accredited courses, specially religious ones, will be approved to be taught, he stressed.
