The first Belgian school in Morocco, located in Dar Bouazza, will open its doors next September to receive students for school year 2014-2015, delegate of the Wallonia-Brussels federation in Rabat Charles Houard announced on Friday in Casablanca.
The school meets the standards of the Wallonia-Brussels federation’s education system and has the same functioning as other establishments of the network of the Association of Belgian Schools Abroad (AEPBE), he said at a press conference.
Recalling the strong cooperation ties between the two countries thanks to the large Moroccan community in Belgium, he underlined that the school is an additional basis in the fruitful cooperation in several areas including education.
The school’s design, which will reinforce and broaden the diversified education offer in Morocco after the French, Spanish and US networks, is adapted to kids’ psychology and pedagogy, he added.
