The skies over Al Montazah, Sharjah’s number one waterpark and entertainment hotspot, lit up this New Year’s Eve as throngs of people gathered to release floating lanterns into the air.
The evening was bathed in a magical glow when friends and families came together to see in the new year in an atmosphere of peace and harmony, lighting their very own lanterns and sending them into the skies – each lantern signifying their hopes and dreams for a better, more peaceful, and more prosperous future for all.
The recently renovated Al Montazah Park (formerly known as Al Jazeera Park) is spread over an impressive 126 000 square metres, and offers thrilling water rides and a lavish leisure park in the very heart of the city.
