Unusual design Rome - Arabstoday A chandelier of wood looks unusual. This chandelier named “June” was designed by award-winning Finnish designer and cabinet maker, Mikko Paakkanen who had this to say about his creation: “The 2012 Designs For Nature project made me think about the importance of our forests and the problems of global climate change. Not everyone has the opportunity to turn on the light when it gets dark. I wanted to create a solution with materials and technology representing minimal usage of natural resources. The product should also be easy to maintain and timeless. The June chandelier is a new version of one of the earliest forms of lighting" This natural chandelier when hung from a simple white ceiling, whether on a veranda or in a living room, will remind you of the soft light of warm summer evenings.
