The bent surface acts as a shelf Rome - Arabstoday German designer Anika Engelbrecht has designed a mirror “Bent” that features a curve that can be used as a shelf. The mirror is made out of a polished stainless steel sheet that reflects well and doesn’t break. The metal is only 1.5 mm thick and much lighter than traditional mirrors. Various colors are applied to the back to accentuate the bend in the surface. The “Bent” mirror has a modern look and doesn’t necessarily require additional shelving to it. The shelf of the mirror can be used to store small things like cosmetics, jewelry and accessories which make them easily accessible. The “Bent” mirror can be used in a small-spaced hall without taking much space while providing the owner with both a reflective surface and a shelf for small but important things to grab before going out.
