Vertical shelving Mexico City - Arabstoday Modern interiors rely heavily on exotic designs inspired by original objects, exactly like this piece. Mexican designer Eduardo Wignall has created a bookshelf inspired by bar-codes in a three-dimensional incarnation of the symbol. The piece features a series of vertical shelves that can hold books, papers and magazines. The inner parts are painted black to represent the black bars of the code while the outer parts are painted white to complete the contrast. The designer drew a series of numbers to make the shape of the shelf appear realistic. The design is available in different sizes, and is a great piece for a contemporary home.
