Fatah spokesman Ahmed Assaf Ramallah - Arab Today Speaking about Abbas's visit to Washington, Assaf said the result of the visit is still unknown, expressing his hope that all Arab states would take a firm stance during the coming Arab summit. "Obama has pledged to mediate peace talks between Israel and Palestine," Assaf said, adding that such talks would fail if no pressure was imposed on the Zionist state. "If the peace talks failed, we would adopt another plan and strategy," Assaf said, adding that all options are available for Palestinians except for leaving their homelands.
