"After the latest events we all felt uncomfortable, but i have a feeling that we are going to be ok in the future under the leadership of the president Abdl Fatah al.Sisi who i respect dearly" said Egyptian TV host Lubna Assal
She denied, during an interview, any offers to work for another channel, stressing that she is settled at "Al.hayat" TV satellite channel describing it as her house.
"Any person likes the change from time to time , but I prefer not to change a lot in my career. I often try to renew the issues that we discuss in my talk show," she added.
She revealed the reasons for taking a month-off from her show, saying that she will give birth to her second child. She expressed appreciation to her colleague Tamer Ameen who will replace her during the period of absence.
She revealed how to reconcile between her career and her role as mother, saying, "it is very hard but I try to achieve my role in the two fronts.”
Regarding the possibility to present any other show, she said, "I do not plan for any new works during the coming period. Such idea is very difficult during the current period, especially that Al Hayat Al Youm is a daily and leading show.”
Regarding Aswan’s woman who intercepted the president’s procession asking for help to receive treatment, Assal said that she is one of many Egyptian women who need treatment, while she was more lucky as she managed to deliver her request to the president. She added, “There are other millions who failed to do like her.”
