Palestinian prisoner Hana Al-Shalabi Jerusalem - Sona Al-Deek Palestinian prisoner Hana Al-Shalabi, who is being held by Israel under administrative detention without charge or trial, said she will continue the hunger strike that she started since her re-arrest on February 16. Hana Al-Shalabi was released from an Israeli prison in October 2011, following a prisoner exchange agreement; prior to her release, she had been held for more than 30 months. During that time, she has never been charged with any crime and she has spent nearly three years in arbitrary administrative detention. Al-Awda, The Palestine Right To Return Coalition called to take immediate action to help save the life of Hana. The Palestinian activist had been an "administrative detainee" with no charge for over two years before she was released last October in observance of the Shalit prisoners exchange agreement. She has been refusing food for the last 11 days.
