A patrol from the Jbeil Internal Security Forces outpost found at dawn in the town of Hsarat - Jbeil a child born in 2002 who had left her parents' house on Sunday afternoon. The girl was discovered with wounds in her face and neck, the NNA correspondent said.
She was transferred by a military vehicle to a nearby hospital where she underwent medical tests.
The judiciary placed its hand on the investigation based on the notice of attorney general, Claude Ghanem, who attended the hospital and assigned forensic surgeon, Nader al-Hajj, to examine her and prepare a detailed report on her condition.
