The US-led coalition against the Daesh launched 14 airstrikes in Syria and Iraq on Sunday, targeting the terrorists’ units and infrastructure, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced in a statement.
Coalition forces in Syria carried out three airstrikes in two cities, destroying fighting positions, a supply cache, vehicle borne improvised explosive device as well as tactical units, Sputnik reported.
Meanwhile in Iraq, the coalition conducted 11 airstrikes near six Iraqi cities destroying tunnel systems, bed down locations, fighting positions, afront end loader, a recoilless rifle, anti-air artillery pieces and vehicles.
