Turkeys armed forces said on Wednesday they shelled 25 targets in the Zavgar and Kulliyah regions in northern Syria as part of Operation Euphrates Shield.
In a statement, the military said Turkish fighter jets also conducted an air raid in the same regions destroying four shelters and killing an unspecified number of militants inside.
Meanwhile, coalition warplanes conducted an air raid in Guzelmezra region and destroyed a vehicle belonging to ISIS, the statement said adding that that Free Syrian Army forces had, since the onset of the operation, cleared 32 villages and residential areas of militants, allowing displaced residents to return to their homes.
Operation Euphrates Shield, which was launched Aug. 24, aims at improving security, supporting coalition forces and eliminating the terror threat along Turkeys border through Free Syrian Army fighters backed by Turkish armor, artillery and jets.
