At least 32 ISIS militants were killed in northern Syria in the last 24 hours as part of the ongoing Operation Euphrates Shield, the Turkish General Staff said in a statement Sunday.
It added that 292 ISIS targets, including the terror groups shelters, headquarters, defense positions and vehicles, had also been hit by the Turkish army during the same time period, Turky's Anadolu Agency reported.
The Turkish Air force also hit 35 ISIS targets in Syria's Al-Bab, Suflaniyyah, Bzagah and Kabr al Mukri regions, including control points, shelters, headquarters and vehicles used by the terrorists, the statement added.
The Turkey-led Operation Euphrates Shield began in late August to improve security, support coalition forces, and eliminate the terror threat along the Turkish border.
