The Turkish General Staff said Monday that 417 militants have been killed and 120 others have been arrested during anti-terror operations accross the country since August 29, mainly the PKK.
The most extensive anti-terror operations carried out in the recent years in Turkey's eastern and southeastern regions also left 88 soldiers martyred, and 152 others wounded, the statement carried by Anadolu Agency said.
During the operations, Turkish army also seized various weapons and ammunition that were left behind by terrorists. The operations, conducted in cooperation with Turkish gendarmerie, police and village guards, will continue with determination, the statement added.
