A top commander of Daesh terrorist group was killed in Syria when Syrian Democratic Forces repelled an attack by the terrorist group in a village, al Arabiya al Hadath channel quoted the director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) as saying on Tuesday.
The commander known as Abu Jandal al Kuwaiti was killed in an attempt by Daesh militants to drive Syrian forces from Jaabar village captured from the terrorist group on Monday, Ramy Abdel Rahman added.
The Syrian Democratic Forces have advanced to be five kilometers away from a strategic dam in northern Syria, he noted.
